CATTERY
We are a small, exclusively Sphynx cattery, located in the Blue Ridge Mountains, in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.
After retiring from my profession in social work, with a background in alternative medicine, I become intensely attracted to the Sphynx breed. I have always been a cat lover and have had many of them "own" me in my lifetime. It was no doubt, fate, that I arrived to enter the wonderful, and challenging world of breeding this awesome breed. It is one of the most difficult, and yet emotionally rewarding things I have done. It is my passion. My deepest heartfelt dedication is to insure the success and survival of the Sphynx as a healthy breed.
Our wonderful Sphynx have been carefully selected to produce only the finest quality, genetically sound off-spring. The health and socialization of our Sphynx is our top priority. Their exquisitely beautiful features only enhance those qualities. We enjoy showing our babies, but focus mostly on striving for good health, and spending quality time with all of our "kids."
All of our babies are fortunate to have a certified animal nutritionist lovingly hand raising them.
They are raised in our home with our small Boston Terrier, Banjo, Our tiny 3 1/2lb. blue merle Chihuahua, Cowboy ,our tiny toy Pomeranian, Tinkerbelle, (who only weighs 2 1/2 lbs .), our Amazon parrot Chelsea, our umbrella cockatoo Daisy, and our furry 13 year old feline, Simba. And I must mention they are spoiled rotten by my teenage daughter Preslee, who is a true animal lover (see her page on MY OTHER BABY).
ALL of our babies and their parents are given only the best of individual care, attention and nutrition. Our little babies go to their new homes fat, healthy and happy.

We can not start our day without taking time for our beautiful blue-eyed cutie Theia (a Libra). She insists on her "love time" which consists of about 20 minutes of non stop purring and rubbing on our necks, every morning and evening. She is so affectionate and intensely enjoys being loved.
Nothing can be said of our sweet boy EL*AN*RA (aka OLIVER! a GEMINI) except he is just a total "love bug." This gentle, sweet boy never meets a stranger and is just a BIG baby. Like hugging a big ole' teddy bear! A very husky boy with dynamic body structure and a great big heart to match. And who can resist those baby blue eyes?! He is my sweetheart.
Our very dynamic CHANDRIKA (aka CHLOE an ARIES) is a gentle soul with a quiet, extremely lovable character. She loves to give us little "head butts" and rub on our cheeks. She is very playful and loves to interact with humans. She has a collection of "her" favorite toys and is always ready to play.
Another very gentle soul who's purr can be heard from across the room, is our beautiful blue eyed girl LALITA Louisa (an Aquarian). She is definitely sugar and spice and everything nice. Elegant, gentle and sweet. She loves to sit and ride on your shoulder, or curl up on your lap and have her ears rubbed.
And when it comes to character, not many sphynx can match the dynamic Mr. L`Etoile (AQUARIAN). His very handsome appearance is only matched by his silly behavior. He ALWAYS has something to "talk" about. His priceless expressions and personality keep us laughing.
Every night is a treat as we fall in to bed and snuggle under the blankets, only to have kitty attacks on our feet. Miss STOLEN KISSES (a CANCER) is there to playfully find her spot in the bed and pounce on anything that moves! As she finally unwinds and comes to snuggle with us, her purrs are so intense she almost chokes on them. A real charmer with her baby blues, she is constantly wild with energy.
Quiet, easy going Petals of Wisdom (a LEO) is a most gentle soul. She is always happy and takes everything in stride. Looks for a toy to play with and NEVER misses a meal. A real cuddle bug who loves to chase after our furry boys big tail (he is not impressed). She also loves to tease our little dogs and steal their toys and hide them.
When it comes to being a comedian and a downright mischievous monkey, FORTUNE COOKIE (a Scorpio) wins!! Hanging from the light fixtures, pouncing on the other cats and little dogs....chasing after anything that moves.....that's her game. Double sweet and full of purrs....she is a total delight to have around.
All of our babies are sold as PETS ONLY to qualified homes.
Our goal is to provide beautiful, healthy babies as precious gifts to those who are looking for the finest. Our hope is that these enchanting little "elves" will bring as much pleasure to you as they have to us. All babies are spayed/neutered before going to their new family. They come with vet exam, vaccinations, health certificate and guarantee, and contract. They are CFA and TICA registered.

This little guy is one of our two rehab babies who's nest fell from the tree, shortly after birth, and they were rescued.....he and his brother were rehabbed and then returned to the woods surrounding our home, where they were found. They visit us often and always delight in a handful of peanuts.
